Our show started from very humble beginnings — from meeting at church, life long friends from the beginning. It all started with a conversation on a car ride to a college football game where sports were talked about all the way there and most of the way back. What started off as a comment "we should do a podcast" was said but not acted on for almost a year later, but now here we are. Still a small show but we enjoy getting together to discuss, debate, laugh, and most importantly talk about our God.
"A Pastor, Firefighter, Student, IT Guy, and a Coach talk about their love of Christ and sports."
Real people. Real conversations. Real faith.
A dedicated firefighter, family man, and man of faith, living with a God-first mindset in everything. Passionate about serving others both on and off duty, brings real-life perspective and integrity.
Raised in a pastor's family, I've followed God's calling throughout my life. Educated at the University of North Texas and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, I've spent the past 25 years pastoring Willow Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Edgewood, TX. I'm an avid golfer and lifelong Texas Longhorns fan. My prayer is to encourage others to seek the Lord and build a real relationship with Him.
Born and raised in Texas, I was blessed to grow up in a God-fearing home. I earned a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Liberty University, with most of my IT knowledge being self-taught. I'm an avid hunter and sports fan, a lifelong supporter of the Texas Longhorns and Green Bay Packers. Above all, God, faith, and my family mean the most to me.
Graduate student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Currently serving as the worship/youth leader at Willow Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Edgewood, TX. I love Jesus, my family, my church family, and anything sports related. Lifelong Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys fan, avid golfer, and I love to talk conspiracies. "Hook 'em Horns", Go Flames!
Graduate of Terrell High School in 2004, attended Paul Quinn College on a football scholarship. Moved to Edgewood in 2018 and started coaching multiple teams in baseball, basketball, and football. I am passionate about anything sports and growing passionate about Christ on this journey.
God, family, real estate — that's me in a nutshell. I am the odd ball of the group as I don't know as much about sports and stats as everyone else, but I still love watching them. With a constant desire to connect with others, I am always seeking ways to diversify myself and bond with others on a deeper level. With an analytical mind I am always on a never-ending quest for knowledge.
